Search using two or more layers

i'm using flex viewer 2.5 and argis server 10 and 9.

I am trying to make a search using 2 o more layers, using the same atribute in all layers, but i don't know how to do that.

Could you describe more precisely what type of search and what the layers are? There are a few ways to do it.

Are you building a widget or altering the stock Search Widget?
