Problem with shape file display

Hi,

I am facing issues with shape file display.I have created the widget and added it to the ArcGIS viewer.My problem is,

a) When I use the map service "http://server.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/ESRI_StreetMap_World_2D/MapServer" shape file display works fine.I assume this service is in extended support now.

b) When I use the map service "http://server.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Street_Map/MapServer", shape file display fails.I am getting 'Map data not yet available' message.

Please provide me the reason for this behavior,if anyone has observed this. Is there any difference with the map layers?

Martin,

Those services have different spatial references (geographic vs. web mercator).

You can try using the WebMercatorUtil class to convert your geometry from geographic to web mercator.
