I want to apply search by using "shape file"(.shp) instead of drawing polygon or line. Is there anyway ? I,m using eSearch widget.

Anjelina,

Shapefiles are made up of more than one file that is why when you do find a widget that works with them it requires the shapefile(s) to be zipped and you then choose the zip file in the open file dialog. I have no plan to support such a workflow as it is not very intuitive or user friendly.

Anjelina,

Nope. I do not do development work for on the side for people. Maybe someone else watching this forum might be interested.

If you have server, you could publish the shapefile as a service and utilize with the spatial search of the eSearchWidget.

Thanks for your friendly answer, but my users can not access my server to share their shape files!
