eSearch not working on live site

Greetings all,
   We at the City of Port Angeles, Wa. finally got a live site up and running. When I tested the site from my home computer I could not get the eSearch by Robert Scheitlin to work. I get the following error message:

[RPC Fault faultString="Security error accessing url"
faultCode="Channel.Security.Error" faultDetail="Destination:
DefaultHTTP"]

The widget works great in the development enviroment but not on the live site. Is this a server problem such as the proxy server not talking to the ArcGis Server behind the firewall? I'm stumped. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Billy

Billy,

   Are you saying that everything about your public site is working except the Enhanced Search Widget? Are you using secure map services? do you have the new public url in the SearchWidget.xml and is the layer ID number the say as it was in your development environment?

Robert,
   I'm not sure what you mean by secure services. The services are on our ArcGIS Server and are behind a firewall. We have a proxy server set up for the public site and internally we use the ArcGIS Server (temporarily, until we get CityWorks working properly with the Flex Viewer). How do I put the correct url in the SearchWidget.xml? Is it something like this:
<url>http://65.243.151.72/ArcGIS/rest/Planimetrics/MapServer/17</url>?

Billy,

   You are close but it would be this instead:
