I have enabled the out-of-box EditWidget in SFV2.2 and AGS10.1.  I can see the changes to attributes in real time when I have the web app and arcmap open at the same time...and making changes to the attributes either online or in arcmap.  But, I cannot add points online....only in ArcMap.  Also, if I move a point online it does not move accordingly in ArcMap.  Yet, if I move or add points in ArcMap they will immediately appear online...any ideas?  The SDE database is enabled for versioned editing....

First make sure that you're listing both point and poly layers as separate feature layers (ending in /0 or /1 or whatever) in your operational layer section. If that's set up correctly but you don't see any option to create a point at all in your web map, you may need to create an editing template in the source mxd for the map service and reboot the service.
