creating buffers

hello everyone! im new to the site and i working on a class project at the moment. i was wondering if there is a widget for the flex viewer that will generate a buffer when you click on any specific location and then have it generate the population in that buffer. i have seen this done in the API for flex but not just in the flex viewer.

any thoughts would be appriciated

    There is not a widget available that specifically meets your needs, but the buffering of map click is done using this widget:
