In the new ArcGIS viewer for Flex, I am unable to add Bing base maps; they are not visible in the list (I added the Bing key under settings). Any clue why it is missing?

I can still use an old app template which has bing base maps added, but not able to add to a new template.

Thanks

Thomas

All,

I've just recently recompiled a map that already had a Bing Maps key and 3 Bing maps layers in use. After recompiling, my Bing layers have quit working. I've double-checked ArcServer, and it still has my Bing Maps key loaded and the Bing Maps key is listed in my config file. Any ideas how to get them back? Do I need to get a new Bing Maps key?

Of note, I am still using ArcServer 10.

Thanks for any help/insight!

I figured out the problem. I had added the updated topo layer (from The National Map) to my app. The calls to the Bing basemaps were lower in the code. For whatever reason, that affected the Bing basemaps visibility. As soon as I put them above the call to the topo layer, they were visible again. Hope this helps someone else!
