It enables organizations to ingest, visualize, analyze, and act upon data from sensors and IoT devices. To get started with ArcGIS Velocity for maritime ports, first, ensure you have an ArcGIS Online account with the necessary licenses.

Begin by connecting to real-time data sources such as vessel tracking systems, sensor networks, or IoT devices within the port. Set up data streams to ingest this information into Velocity. Next, create real-time analytics to process and analyze the incoming data, using tools like Filter by Geometry or Join Features to detect when ships enter or exit specific areas of the port. Utilize the Calculate Motion Statistics tool to monitor vessel speed and movement patterns. Finally, configure alerts and notifications for important events, such as when a ship approaches a restricted area or when cargo with hazardous materials nears a tunnel. As you become more familiar with the platform, you can develop more complex analytics to optimize port operations, enhance security, and improve overall efficiency. 

Conclusion
