Why do photos taken in QuickCapture not appear in the Survey123 Inbox?

QuickCapture and Survey123 both share the same FeatureLayer but photos are placed under "Attachments" for the former and "Photos" for S123.

So I can't see the photo attachments taken in QuickCapture in the survey when opened via the inbox in S123.

What is the "photo" question type in Survey123?  Is this a hosted layer or are you updating registered data in an enterprise database (in which case you'd want to check that attachment keywords are being populated).  Can you provide more info on your system set up and versions of software you're on?

If the the "photo" question in S123 is "file", this is a known limitation that they cannot be viewed in the inbox - see my response in blog post File attachments not showing in inbox.

Thanks for the quick response.

The "photo" question in S123 is of type image.

When I view a completed survey the images that were taken using QC appear as "attachments".

Any images taken via S123 appear in the Inbox.

Is there a way to configure QC to use "image" instead of "attachments"?

As suspected, images taken/attached in Quick Capture are missing the keyword that looks like it should be the Survey123 image type question name (confirmed here in Survey123 Connect docs).  Here are is a photo of the problem and the potential solutions.

(repeat from above, didn't work for me with Enterprise 11.3) - HOW TO: Update attachment keywords for existing images in Survey123 data from REST

Looks more promising, but I don't have time test.  Update attachment keywords using the ArcGIS API for Python
