Hello, we want to use an external bluetooth-enabled camera to capture images for a pipeline material inspection survey. I would like to know if Survey123 can use an external camera (one like this) to take the pictures.

A previous post from 2017 suggested that Esri is working on this feature but I cannot find any indication if this was implemented. If Survey123 does not support this feature, does Field Maps support it?

Thanks!

No, I don't believe so. You need to switch apps then upload from your gallery.

Field maps has a setting to use the in app camera to avoid issues with some device camera apps.

Suggest creating an ArcGIS Idea.

Using an external camera to capture photos in ArcGIS Survey123 can improve image quality and streamline field data collection webcam online testen, especially when higher-resolution or specialized photography is required. By configuring your device settings and ensuring proper permissions, Survey123 can trigger the external camera app instead of the default in-app camera.
