Hello all,
I have a survey that consists of multiple pages. It worked perfectly until yesterday - no html showing while loading, nice and clean loading. I could see the first page of the survey when loading is done.
Somehow from today, it shows all html codes while loading, and as soon as loading is done, it takes to the very last page. Is anything going on survey123 today?
James Tedrick, any advice?
Cheers,
It looks like the issue comes from using 3.9 when I publish the survey.
I have installed 3.7 and used 3.8 to publish because the basemap did not work properly with 3.7.
Is there any way that I can download 3.8 connector?? It looks like 3.9 produce so many problems for my work....
Hi Jay,
There was no 3.8 version of Survey123 Connect; 3.8 was a web-only release. You can specify the 3.8 version by using the ?version=3.8 URL parameter. We have a fix for the page navigation issue planned.
Hello James, thanks for your response. yes, I not realize that v3.8 was only on the web. by the way where should I add ?version=3.8? This is what I see now. Currently not shared, but will be public once it is done.

Hi Jay,
I would substitute the ?portalUrl=https://xxx.maps.arcgis.com with ?version=3.8 (the portalUrl is not needed when connecting to a survey hosted in ArcGIS Online). For more details, refer to https://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/reference/integratewithotherapps.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_FB0D6EDC66E64...
Hi Jay H,
The fix mentioned by James is available on our beta website https://survey123beta.arcgis.com , would you mind trying it out to see if it works for you?
Regarding the original showing HTML code issue, would you mind sharing a test survey or the XLSForm which can reproduce the issue with us?
Thanks,
Zhifang
Hello Zhifang, I can share the form. In my other posting, Ismael mentioned to send email to survey123@esri.com . Is that right?
J
Hi Jay,
Yes, the email is correct for the product team. In this case, you can also send me the file directly to zwang@esri.com.
For the issue that the survey jumps to another page rather than the first page, we have a hotfix planned in the next week for now to address this. Would you mind having a try on the beta website https://survey123beta.arcgis.com to see if it works for your survey?
Thanks again for your feedback.
Best,
Zhifang
Hi Jay,
The fix to the issue that "If there are multiple pages and repeat, the web app will open the survey at the page that contains the repeat" is now available on Survey123 website, please have a try to see it works for you.
Thanks again for your feedback.
