Opening Existing Survey in Survey123 Connect

I have an existing survey in our organization that was created by someone else. I need to use Survey123 Connect to allow me to access the survey in the XLSForm. When signing into Survey123 Connect there does not appear to be an option to open surveys in the same organization that were created by other users. Is there any way to do this or would the original author need to update the survey? If so, this seems to be a significant limitation of Survey123 Connect.

No there is not. A form can only have one owner and one updater.  It is a AGOL limitation that 123 has not got around yet.  Yes it makes life difficult in an organization.

I know of someone who was trying to push for that but there were too many limitations with using Survey123 compared to field maps. That is why most of our projects are created to be used in field maps instead.

Thanks for following up, Doug!

I appreciate the confirmation of the limitation. It was confusing as I see the survey in My Surveys https://survey123.arcgis.com/org/surveys, but not within Survey123 Connect.

If you need to move it one time lots of good info here.  Mostly page 4

If having the original author perform the update isn't possible for some reason, have an admin transfer ownership of the form from their user to yours, then you'll be able to download in S123 Connect and perform the updates yourself.
