I am trying to include HTML symbols in labels for select_one or select_multiple choice lists. I find that most symbols fail to render (in the Survey123 Connect preview, at least). The same symbols do work correctly when used in question labels, and only fail when used in choice labels.
Some examples of HTML symbols that work in question labels but fail in choice labels are: " &, and £. I have attached an example XLSForm showing this behavior. I am using Survey123 Connect version 3.12.230.
How can I get these symbols to render in choice labels? I am most interested in being able to use non-breaking spaces.
