Create a custom geolocator for location search

We have a form we use to help citizen scientists record their sightings. We have a layer of 'sites' where most of them make their observations and I'd like to make those available when they do a location search - most of them won't carry the form on a mobile device into the field but will fill out a form later. Is there a way to add a layer to the search function for geopoint search?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Dorn - How many sites are you looking to include? It could be possible to use the pulldata() function to update the location of a geopoint question. This would be based on the user selecting from a list.

Take a look at the following example:

Far too many sites for that to work sadly. Thanks

We have an enhancement request open to do a search on a feature layer. I'll add you to it.

An alternative approach would be to make use of the geo-search functionality currently available in beta:
