Cannot Submit Updated Records from Survey123 Inbox (Creator role)

We have a Survey123 app with Inbox enabled so that field workers can update existing records. The workflow is:

1. Field workers open the survey and download records from the Inbox.

2. They update the records in the Inbox.

3. They try to send the updated survey.

  • The problem is that field workers cannot send their updates - the send action fails with no clear message.
  • Their accounts are assigned the creator role.
  • When I test the same workflow using Administrator account, I can successfully send the edits without any issues.

It seems to be permission problem, but I can't figure out what setting might be blocking them.

Has anyone encountered this issue? What permissions or settings should I check? Thanks in advance

Do you have the Delete and Update turned on AGOL?

And check the permissions on the main feature layer and all of the associated feature views.  You should have FeatureName  (hosted) and FeatureName_form (hosted, view).  The form should be submitting to the view so make sure the Edit->Update are turned on.
