StoryMap Navigation Tabs Going to Wrong Place

Greetings,

I am helping someone with their StoryMap, which is presenting some navigation issues. Most of the links go to a point that is slightly above the section headings, if one clicks on the navigation tabs going from left to right (first section to last). Clicking on the tabs a second time will get one to the proper place, as will clicking the navigation tabs from right to left (last section to first). However, navigating to sections through one click going through the sections forward creates issues.

I saw this post from 2025 that seems to have a similar issue, though I cannot figure out if it is truly applicable or what the solution is and how to apply it if it is. As I said, I'm not the creator of this StoryMap and am just reaching out on behalf of the person who is, so please make sure to spell out in detail any guidance you have so we can both replicate it. @WassonSU -- I'm sorry your colleague is having some issues with navigation. I don't see story navigation enabled in that story you linked to, so unfortunately we aren't able to test and see what you are describing. Is the change to enable it perhaps an unpublished change? If so, can you ask the author to republish? Or, could they duplicate the story, enable navigation on the copy, and then publish that one?

If neither of those are possible, I would suggest having the author contact Esri Technical Support and they will be able to help.
