Sharing a Theme error

I'm trying to share a simple theme I created with my group members but I keep getting the error,

"There was a problem saving your organization settings".

Is this tied into my user type or role? I currently have a custom role set up by our Admin but I figured since I can see the Admin - Organization settings option in story maps I should be good to share my theme. Hope that makes sense.

@Anonymous User -- Thanks for that list. I see the issue.

Below are the two privileges you need to edit the StoryMaps org settings. Only the second one is an admin privilege (that's the one you are missing).

  • View groups shared with the organization
  • Manage organization website settings (admin)

Having any admin privilege will let you view the org settings page (as long as you also have permission to view groups shared with the org), but you need this specific one to make changes.
