can audio files be embedded in the new story maps application?

The classic StoryMaps supports audio files, but I don't find this capability in the new Story Maps (although links to mp4 video files are supported).  Is there a way to associate an mp3 audio file as a link?

Hi Bill -- We're working on support for uploading audio files right now and plan to release it in June/July.

For now, you can already link to audio hosted using 3rd party services like SoundCloud (using the Embed option in the story builder). See this story as an example.
