*Running ArcGIS Pro

1. I found a Bare Earth DEM to use as my Elevation Data to calculate slope

2. I went to tools and looked for Spatial Analyst (Slope)

3. Input Raster (DEM) Output (Slope1) Degree Geodesic

4. Where problem starts. When I press "Run" It will load for 3% ->5% then go back to 0% and say "Running"

I left it on for 20minutes and it had 0 progress. I tried switching to planar and no difference.

Any suggestions or anything that I am doing wrong? I checked before and this comp can run ArcGIS and is running Windows10.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you clip out your area of interest or were you hoping for the slope for the whole Earth?  Raster size would be an obvious issue.

Thank you for replying Dan!

I clipped out the State of RI to run the DEM. Is that too big? It is a 0.76 m Lidar image of the State if that makes a diff.

my guess would be yes, but if you need slope, a raster resampled to a larger cell size would be better, or clip out a smaller area to test whether the data set/size is indeed the issue
