ok ESRI, why doesn't reclass by table work in 10.1?  I'm using the exact data that used in version 10 which performed fine but when using the same tool and data in 10.1, all I get are errors regarding the parameters are incorrect and field type is not valid.

Not sure why this would happen since it's the same data as used in version 10.

Please help.

Thanks,
Jack

I have the same issue.  We have a model that uses Reclass By Table that worked fine in 10.0.  Ever since "upgrading" to 10.1, Reclass By Table doesn't recognize the dbf tables anymore.  It raises 001000 errors and claims the fields don't exist. I've tested the tool as a standalone outside of the model and it's the same story.  I can't even select the From/To/Output fields, because the tool can't see them in my tables. I tried a plain text file and got the same results.

On a side note, these tables all read and display fine in ArcMap.

Can any ESRI representatives shed some light on this issue please?

Are the dbf from and to fields numeric?

Hi, I have the same errors.

I don't think there is something wrong with the table because I can use the table when I try the 'Reclassify'-toolbox. There I can 'load' the table and it works fine. However, this tool is not a solution for our problem because we really need the Reclass by Table tool in our model.

I've also tested the 'save' option in the 'Reclassify'-toolbox. This creates a table that also can't be used in the 'Reclass by table'-tool.

I think this is really a bug in ArcMap 10.1.

Anyone from ESRI who can help us?

Yes, they are numeric.

Just an update, ArcGIS 10.2 appears to have resolved the issue.  Since updating to 10.2, my model now runs fine just like it did in 10.0.  So, kudos to ESRI for whatever they did to the tool.
