My apologies if I have posted this in the wrong area.
I am looking for a way to selected micro-topographic features. Pretty much I want to extract all knolls, eskers, hummocks etc that are evident on the lidar into their own raster. Does anyone have any idea or any programs that can do this.

Many thanks
Scott

You will need to look into landform modeling techniques.  Here is a link to one of the better toolsets for creating topographic position, slope position, and landform types although you may need to experiment a little.

(See Corridor Designer and Land Facet toolboxes)

Thomas Diltz used to have a really nice toolbox but is in the archives (9.3 and earlier)

Dear Sir,
We were searching for Slope Facet map and its tools and techniques how to make it through ArcGIS 10. One forum "ArcGIS Desktop Discussion Forums" that is why we are going to ask this question to you.

We want to make slope facet maps. Can we make it using Slope Aspect map in ArcGIS 10 or can we extract polygon features from a raster image of slope aspect map. have you any idea about any tool which may help for extraction of slope facet map from DEM data or Slope Aspect map.
Thankyou!
