Dear all,
I'm trying for several days now to do something on ArcGIS that seems very very simple in theory but I do not succeed.
here is my problem:
I have a shape file with points representing the location of animals. I want to have a matrix of distance between all my points. However, I also don't want to have an simple euclidean distance, I need this distance to be weighted according to ecological parameters. For instance, the animals will be less likely to climb mountains, will not cross rivers etc... With these parameters, I have make a "cost raster".
I would therefore need to have a distance matrix between all points that takes into account the landscape and this costs raster that I have made.
So far I have tried the "distance between points", but there is no cost raster that can be used. OD would be interesting but I do not need any network as my animal can go where they want, etc...
I hope I am clear enough!
Thanks a lot for anyone that can help
