I want to plan a mountain-bike track in ArcGis. I want to determine the uphill section using the least cost path, based on the slope. I wish the result to be something similar to the map from this link http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/extensions/spatialanalyst/distance.html . I don't understand what data is necessary to use Cost Path function to result such a map. I don't want distance to be taken in account, but just the slope. Please help! 😞
