IDW error during conversion

I want to interpolate values from 4 monitoring stations. I am using IDW , however I am constantly encountering the following error 010024 which says error during conversion. I have already tried to creating new workspaces and re plotting the lat long values but nothing seems to work. How to I rectify this

Persist the event layer, i.e. use CopyFeatures and copy the event layer to a feature class and use that as input to IDW
