I am trying to map point locations with high lead results as a heat map. i am not sure what do i use to convert my points to surface after I calculate hot spots on point locations. Basically i have lead test results in points data set and i am using the level of lead as field to calculate hot spots. after that i end up with points data layer with p-values and z-values. Then i tried using kernel and point density to calculate the surface but is that the right way? I need this as a heat map layer under testing locations so that high lead results areas can be targeted for more testing.
Thanks!
Nikki
You can create a continuous surface by interpolating on the Z-values using an interpolator like Natural Neighbor or IDW.
