Connecting clients to workflow manager,

I have the following scenario:

Administrator side:

1. The ??H? enterprise geodatabase is created

2. The ??Workflow Manager Post Installation? is applied to this enterprise geodatabase (H) so that repository tables are created in it

,

3. ??H? is provided by ??N? geodatabase to serve as data workspace

Client side:

After the ??workflow manager? software is installed on a client machine, how the user of this machine is connected to the ??H? database SO THAT jobs managed in the ??H? geodatabase can be assigned to him/her?

Thank you

Best

Jamal

Hi Jamal,

One of the easiest ways to get people connected to the desired Workflow Manager database is to take the connection JTC file and share it to all of the users.

To get the JTC file navigate to c:\ProgramData\ESRI\WMX\10.#\Database and there will be a jtc file for the name you have setup.

Copy that file into the same location on the client's machines.

Then in Administrator ensure that all new users are added and assigned to a group within the database.

Cheers,
Michael
