The Long-range transportation plan is a federally required plan used for creating a vision for multi-modal transportation. This plan focuses on our roads, bridges, public transit, bike paths, sidewalks, ports, etc for the upcoming 25 years. These plans are also updated every five years. Part of the update process includes public engagement; Public workshops – in person and virtual, Attending community-based organization and stakeholder meetings, Attending community events, Surveys, and public comment forms, Focus groups for specific topic areas and users, and Public Hearings and State Committee meetings.
I was hoping to modify the Active Transportation Outreach to meet these needs, but that may be beyond my ability. As this includes multiple state agencies, municipalities, and the public, I feel it would make for a great Solution. It may also be a simple modification to one of the existing solutions.
