Connect ArcGIS API for WPF with MapServer for dummies

Greetings community,

Having used the ArcGIS API for WPF component can make a connection to a particular data server whose base is MapServer?

If so, is there a manual or guide for newbies to allow me to make a short and effective test to verify the connection to the map server (MapServer) and viewing .....
