ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer cache

Hello, I think this is an easy question.

If I use the ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer, does the tiles are cached by default on the local machine or we need to set an option.

Hi,

It does use the browser cache to avoid re-requesting tiles but the cache is not persisted between application sessions. In order to have a more persistent offline tile cache, for now you need to prepare the cache as a Tile Package either using ArcGIS Desktop or from an existing service cache.
