When will ESRI release support for the new iOS4 opperating system for the iPhone?

iOS4 compatibility would at minimum be very helpful.  Our client updated their demo devices and we have no way to provide them with iOS4 compatible builds.  Can we overcome the blank map issue on iOS4 when targeting 3.1.3?
