It would be good to migrate the 'Add Populated Layers' function that was in ArcMap into ArcGIS Pro. We don't necessarily need the exact same button/toolbar but would really appreciate a way to only add layers that contain data to a map. We often deal with databases that contain many feature classes so an ability to only add features that aren't empty would really improve our workflows. It would also mean that we wouldn't have to go through and remove empty layers after they have been brought into the map.

In ArcMap I use the Production TOC Manager toolbar to add populated data all the time. We have a geodatabase schema that doesn't always have data in every feature class, and it's very convenient to be able to choose a feature dataset and have all feature classes within that dataset that actually contain data added to the map instead of hunting them down one by one. This is not a feature I have been able to find in ArcPro.

Hi James & Amy

At this time we do not plan to recreate the Production TOC Manager toolbar in ArcGIS Pro, but rather are working to integrate our workflows within the broader ArcGIS Pro framework.

Currently the ArcGIS Pro workflow for including only populated data in the TOC is to Add Data and then remove Empty feature layers, as James mentioned in the comment above.
