When a text is too long to fit in a table frame cell, it is cut off only at a space or hyphen. For instance, the text This extraordinary long text will show only This. I would like to see something like This extraor.
I know I can set word wrap, but I'd like to keep the rows the same height, and don't mind text being cut off mid-word.
Is there a way to change this behavior?
I am using ArcGIS Pro 3.5
Update
I just noticed that when the text is a single word, it is cut off mid-word, and a red … pops up. As soon as there's a space or hyphen, the text will break only there.
I would like to follow this question as well -- as I am also interested. I have placed some columns and some items are smaller but it looks like the columns are uniform and you cannot change individual column's size. So far what i've done is apply the checkbox 'hover text' or something like that. When you hover it displays it all.
Oh, but setting the column width is possible. In the Field's properties window under Appearance, simply uncheck Auto width
