What is the difference between Named User licensing for per-machine installations and Named User licensing for per-user installations

Hello,

We are looking to deploy arcgis pro with name user license(portal) through SCCM. I found the documentation lists both a per-machine and a per-user install. Can you please explain the difference to me? What option should I use if I want to deploy to a training lab?

Per-Machine Installations:
ArcGIS Pro is installed for all users on a machine.
The installation command includes the parameter ALLUSERS=1.
Any user on the machine can access ArcGIS Pro by signing in with their organization credentials.

Per-User Installations:
ArcGIS Pro is installed only for the current user.
The installation command includes the parameter ALLUSERS=2.
Only the user who installed the software can access it, and they must sign in with their organization credentials.

Both configurations require users to sign in with their organization credentials to unlock the application, but the installation scope determines whether it is accessible to all users on the machine or restricted to the installing user.

With regard to your training lab installation, I would think Per-Machine installation would be preferred.
