Hello !

Have a question . I have been doing a lot of CAD files that was done in 2023  and has a different projection. So I have to use FME Data Inspector and Workbench 2024.1.1 on some of the CAD files

However, some of the CAD I worked on I had to change the projection to UTM 13N and took out the world file.

I would Validate Position and the first part at the top of the Current Status that I have assigned coordinatate marked in blue color which means it is already assigned.

Then Send the CAD files to the Map and  test it to overlay with the polyline and save the world file.

So when I went back to the Validate Position again and see it said No Project address found in this model ?

Here it is a screenshot...

Do I need to fix it or is it just good enough and move on ?

Currently using ArcGIS Pro 3.3.6

Hey @DEAF_PROBERT_68

I've worked with thousands of CAD files so far in my experience, this address suggestion is completely optional and is not required to save or manipulate the CAD file, it just allows ArcPro to more accurately slot in a specific area and coordinate system to the drawing.

I would verify with a non-validated dwg file that everything lines up correctly, in this tutorial it's recommended, but I've had no issues without it: https://learn.arcgis.com/en/projects/geolocate-a-3d-digital-building-model/
