Unable to remove rasters from mosaic dataset

Dear All, I  am struggling to remove a list of rasters fom a mosaic dataset  in Oracle sde. I use the tool "Remove raster fom mosaic dataset" in ArcGIS Pro 2.6.2. It doesn't raise any error, it simply says the tool succeded ("Removed 0 mosaic dataset items and 0 unreferenced raster type instances"). I did define a query in order to select the rasters to remove.

Any suggestion? Any help will be much appreciated.

I would first check that your query is returning anything, something like use a 'select by' on the footprints with the same query.  You could also remove selected rasters.

Thank you David for your reply. Yes my query returns the records I want to remove. I also tried manually selecting the records on the footprint table and then run the tool but it doesn't work. The strange thing is that this tool works on other mosaic datasets.
