The data in the attribute table is deleted with the SPLIT tool

Hello everyone,

I have any polygon that has an attribute table with data from that polygon,

And when I split it with the SPLIT tool, it deletes all the information contained in the attribute table of the two polygons.

And what I want is for the information to be maintained in both polygons.

Hi there,

If these attributes use domains, then it is likely that your domain split policy is set to "Default". And if you don't have any default values set, then every time you split a feature, that attribute will default to null. In your domains, you'll want to change this to "Duplicate". Esri made it so that all new domains are automatically set to a "Default" split policy which is pretty silly to me.

This is what you're looking for on your domain screen:
