It's me or a bug?

I'm putting dynamic text in my layout.  I'm trying to set a box to put the text.  

I found two problems when working info for descriptions and summary.  

When drawing the box where the zone for the text is not for the placement of text but only change the size of the text.

Since the box have not the right size, I try to change the size.  In my computer (win7), the width and height are linked, no symbol to change that.  But, for all other text, the lock / unlock picto is there.

It sounds like you might be using the wrong kind of text element. There are two types of text: point text (which will resize automatically to match the box you drew) and paragraph text (the box size stays the same, and lines of text wrap to new lines automatically to fit).
