To create a legend of my map I use a table frame which source is a standalone table. This standalone table was created with an arcpy code which summarizes all visible features in the map and add some extra info to the table which is then shown in the table frame/legend. Sometimes I need to re-run the arcpy code because some attributes changed. Doing that I loose the connection from the table frame to my standalone table and therefore also the definition query and all further configuration I did on that table frame which is very annoying. Is there a way to simply replace the source of a table frame without loosing all the configuration?
I know I can simply rename the original table and the create the updated table with the original name but I actually want to be able to overwrite the table without loosing all the configuration in the table frame.
