Subdivide Polygon: Split Angle does not allow decimals

Hi all,

using the Modelbuilder in Arc GIS Pro (version 3.1.1), polygons can be subdivided by a specific "Split Angle" with the tool "Subdivide Polygon".

The Split Angle needs to be data type "double". However, if you type in an angle with a decimal number, e.g. 90.5. The tool cuts the value to 90. The subdivision thus gets imprecise.

Same problem occurs if a decimal angle value is retrieved from a table by the tool "Get field value". If the tool "Get field value" is set to data type "Any type" instead of "Double", the Split Angle is correctly displayed in the execution window of a model run. However the results indicate that the model used the default Split Angle of 0 instead. So it does not accept the decimal value given by the table.

Is this a general restriction or a bug?

Does anyone know an optional way to subdivide polygons into identical strips precisely?

Thanks a lot for any help in advance!

Kind Regards,

Marvin
