I'm trying to split polygons in a shapefile, and frequently I get the message, "Splitting features failed. A polygon cut operation could not classify all parts of the polygon as left or right of the cutting line." I've checked geometry and there is no problem, there are no relationship classes, and the split is legit, snapping to the edge, etc. I can't figure out why it lets me do the split sometimes and not others, even on the same polygon. Using current version of Pro. Any suggestions appreciated.
