what type of addin? how did you install it? for example Sharing and installing add-ins—Help | ArcGIS Desktop
and ArcGIS Solutions Deployment Tool Sneak Peek | ArcGIS Blog
Thanks Dan Patterson for reply ,
I install SolutionDeployment.esriAddin by Double-click on it as explained in the attached photo above ;
in fact i thought by downloading and activate this file i will be able to use Arc GIS for Electrical ; i wish to have a help in exploring what is the ArcGIS for electrical and how could install it , and what about its function (Distribution, Transmission, Generation) according to my search i found it's a mapping platform for an electric utility. Built on the foundation of the existing GIS software, unfortunately i could not find away to understand what is Arc GIS for Electrical and how to install it

I haven't found the download for the addin yet, but this is for Pro 1.3 or later. Do you have that installed?
At release, the Deployment Tool will require ArcGIS Pro 1.3 or later. To deploy a Solution, users must have privileges to “create new content” in their ArcGIS Online organizational subscription or their Portal for ArcGIS.
After installation, you will find an ArcGIS Solutions button in the ArcGIS Pro Share Ribbon. When you launch the Deployment Tool, you are presented with 4 Tasks.
Thanks Rebecca ,
I do not install Arc GIS Pro on my machine, what kind of privileges ?? please provide me with Print Scrn to understand the exact point you explain above
With Lot of Regards
You seem to be missing some basic help file links....
here is the main one divided between ArcMap and Pro
Documentation | ArcGIS Desktop
here is the Pro installation procedure Download and install—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS for Desktop
This should get you started...
Lot of Thank ,
Noor (or Dan), can you send the link where you downloaded the addin? I would like to take a look at it too, but haven't located it. The download page or a readme file should have more info on the requirements needed for it to install/run.
I found this blog What’s New with ArcGIS for Emergency Management, ArcGIS for Electric, ArcGIS for Gas and ArcGIS for ... but did not see a link to an the addin you mention in your post.
