Hello,
I am using the desktop version 3.2.2 and I have a question regarding service area. I have conducted a 5 min service area and received the below output. I am wondering why the service area only encompasses the side street but it does not travel down the straight road further. I have tried unchecking the hierarchy box to see if that is the issue but I get the same result. There is obviously something I am missing or an explanation that I can't find. Any ideas?
Thank you,
Jodi

I looked this up on Google Street view and noticed the speed limit drops from 60kph to 50kph on Power Dam Road just after the intersection with Saunders Road. Also saw 'no truck' road signs on Power Dam Road just after the intersection as well, which would make a difference if you were using Trucking Distance instead of Driving Distance. Additionally, I saw no speed limit signs on Saunders Road so I'm assuming the speed limit is 60kph there?
I guess the next step is to measure the distance along Power Dam Road to the service area boundary, do the same for Saunders Road, and see if the 10kph difference accounts for the service area boundary.

Thank you for this. I did try to find out if this was a private road but didn't look into road restrictions.
I appreciate the help.
