I'm batch editing Hosted Feature Layer attributes in ArcGIS Pro and I receive this Save Edits Error Code. If I select 100-200 maybe more, edit the attributes and click save, I don't receive this error. So to push my edits through, I have to repeat these steps for the rest of the few thousand features to update their attributes.
I found an article: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-questions/save-edits-fails-error-code-1003/m-p/1522522
In the Hosted Feature Layer setting in AGOL, I had "Keep track of changes to the data" Toggled On. I turned it off, repeated my original test and didn't receive the error. This time I selected 2,000 features and attempted to edit the same attribute and it worked.
This looks like a bug, I will have to do some more testing, with this an other layers, we shouldn't have to turn off our change log to do batch editing with a "large selection".
@Nick_Creedon - I did see a Support Case similar to this. The solution was the following:
For the feature layer erroring out, do the following:
1. Disable "Enable Editing" and "Keep track of changes to the data (add, update, delete features)
2. Save the changes.
3. Reenable these settings.
4. Save the changes.
5. Close out ArcGIS Pro and reopen the project.
6. Test the workflow again. Does the error message persist?
