Ok, so once again I am a tad stumped as I am trying to create a web map for field data collection.

I resolved 3 of 4 errors I had with the last being my current issue.

I have Error 00230: My service layers are in the wrong projection, which ideally I'd want in the web map.

So my question is: Unless I'm not mistaken, I can't create a web map without a basemap and thus I must find a service layer that is in my coordinate system by default; Or I must somehow reproject the service layer. (I'm not finding much for the latter).

Any Ideas?

If you’re publishing services for use in a webmap you shouldn’t have to include a basemap to create the service.

Here is an older thread that references the error you’re getting. It involves an older version of Pro but I believe the solution workflow should still apply.

Here’s some ESRI documentation for working with coordinate systems. One important tip to remember that may apply to your situation is, “Empty maps and scenes derive their coordinate systems from the first layer added to them.”

Good luck.
