"Supports Query Data Elements" - What does this mean for service performance?

When re-publishing some old services that were previously published in ArcMap, I was looking at the rest endpoints and saw that the newer services I had published from Pro had the value "true" for "Supports Query Data Elements" while the same services as originally published from ArcMap had a null or blank value for that field.
Is this a new-er feature that wasn't supported with ArcMap published services? I'm trying to figure out if I can expect any performance differences between the old and the new services. Particularly any slowness or other performance downgrades 😅
