Pro legend causes software to crash

After upgrading to 3.4 if I try to make a legend title have a 2nd line (with a hard return) it hangs, freezes and crashes.  I reverted back to 3.3 where I had no issues with multi line legend titles. But now 3.3 crashes too. I can't figure it out. I have cleared the cache, have a NVIDIA card, turned off indexing, using OpenGL and still crashes. Any ideas on what is causing this?

I'm so sorry this is happening, it shouldn't be. I've tried reproducing the crash on 3.4 and 3.3.2 with no luck. With it crashing after you reverted back to a working build, I wonder if there is something in your computer setup or specific project data that's being problematic. 

I recommend reaching out to Esri support as they have the skills and resources to evaluate those things better. Again, I'm so sorry this is happening!
