Package Project Layer's data source is inaccessible

Hi.  I am getting an error when I run the ArcGIS Pro "Package Project" tool.  The error is "Layer's data source is inaccessible."  However, the data source does not exist anywhere in the project.  I recognize it as a local fgdb I created about a month ago and renamed.  I've looked everywhere in the Catalog for a reference to it with no luck.  Has anyone run into this before and can help me identify where else to look?

Thanks.

Hi, Mary Ellen.

I wonder if you solved or heard from anyone on this issue.

I am running into a similar situation. The error when I try to package the project is this:

"Layer's data source is inaccessible: MapControlMap11/maplayer"

Not sure what "MapControlMap11" refers to. Presumably a map, but no map like that exists in my project.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Just an update: In ArcGIS Pro, I opened a Catalog View and clicked Update Sources.

From there I was able to view all of the layers in the project and the "containers" they were in. I do not know where "MapControlMap11" came from or how to view its broken data source, but from this view I could update the data source and the package project process could proceed.
