Hi,

I have noticed something with ArcGIS Pro 2.7.

Im displaying a feature class that is projected in NAD83 MTM7 (wkid 32187) over a basemap in WGS84 (wkid 3857) and there is an offset between the feature class and the basemap that does not occur when displaying the same dataset and basemap in ArcMap.

Here you can see the feature class is aligned to the basemap in ArcMap

Here you can see the same dataset and basemap in Pro with the offset

I have noticed the offset is present with all my dataset that is in NAD83 MTM7.

What could be the cause of this offset?

Thank you!

Looks like a datum transformation offset to me.

Make sure the data transformation is set the same in Pro as it is in Map and see if that "fixes" it.

Thank you!

You are absolutely right, the transformation was different in Pro.

However there was no transformation in ArcMap but in Pro it was defined to WGS 1984 (ITRF00) to NAD 1983. Is it ok to not use any transformation at all?

Is there a way to make Pro not use any transformation as default in any project?
