Hello,

I'm new to ArcGIS Pro. After importing some layouts and maps from mxds, I noticed I have multiple XY providers showing under locators. Is that normal? when I hover over them or click them they dont seem to do anything. Also whenever I switch between different maps in the project more get added and I dont understand why or what they are for.

If someone could explain that'd be great

I was curious about this as well.  I don't see any responses here.  Did you find a solution or answer elsewhere?

Thanks.

I am not really sure and obviously no response here...more of an annoyance than anything.

Hello All

Is this issue occurring on existing ArcGIS Pro Projects?

Can you see the same issue when you Create New Project > Insert New Map > Add data > Save Project and reopen the project?

I have not noticed this lately, but will look for it again.

This issue can occur when content is migrated between environments, such as moving to an AWS cloud environment. In some cases, legacy path references (for example, Network or Portal paths) for default locators are retained alongside the new paths, resulting in multiple XY providers being created. Creating a new ArcGIS Pro project resolves the issue. More information is available in the article below:
