Measured hatches along line/curve - error/bug in Pro?

Hi,

I am working with linear measurements along a series of alignments from a tram-operator. The alignments typically has segments of line-curve-line-curve... I am having a struggle with measured hatches along curve elements and wonders if anyone has seen similar, seems Pro does not treat the curves correct:

Test:

- draw (edit) a curve, close to connecting to a circle

- In my case the curve is nearly 100 meter long

As my client has alignments which not always starts at 0, two fields are added:

- Start + Stop. In this case enter values 0 for Start and 100 for Stop

- Use "Create Route" tool, with "Measure Source" set to "Values from two fields" which are set to the Start and Stop attributes

Then I follow the  "Draw measured hatches along lines" recipe (Draw measured hatches along lines—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop ) and enables "allow symbol property connections", which makes it possible to use Arcade "$measure" to get stationing along my route (in Pro terms: at measured units).

The result is a bit strange  Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Attached the described example and a real route as well.

Thanks

Pål Herman

Error not present in 10.5.1 nor 10.6.1. Seems like Pro has a bug here. Interval is 100 meter for the hatches on an M-enablet line made from Create Routes tool, option with "To" and "From" fields where From = 0 and To = Shape_Length (value)

Hatching at 100 meter interval in ArcMap 10.6.1Same data, hatching with Pro 2.3
